Vegas Lady 2

Single panel comic of a washed up Vegas show girl.

Vegas Lady

The other day a my friend Brennan left a facebook posting describing his admiration for Las Vegas due to witnessing a women walking her dog while smoking a cigarette and drinking a tall boy at 6 am. Immediately I had a visual, so I sketched it out and posted it on his wall and now my blog.

Margin Sketches 3

These are old, but I wanted to post.

70's Cop

I have an affinity for the 70's, mainly music and film. This cat doesn't take of that jive, baby. You dig?

Margin Sketches 2

These are OLD, but thought I would post anyways.

Margin Sketches

It has been a loooonnnnggg time since I have posted, close to, if not over a year, THAT IS LAME. I should post everyday. With that in mind, I have decided I am going to start posting whatever I sketch through out the day. This will help keep my blog current. These are my "Margin Sketches."

These sketches created over the duration of my day. Technically, they are not drawn in the margin of college ruled paper. The name is derived from my days a as a youth when I would draw in the margins of my homework/ school work assignments to help me clear my head of any mental block or problem I was facing.

Instead of a margin, I have Sketchbook Pro open all day and when I am confronted with a design problem on a work related task, instead of starring blankly at a white Photoshop/ Illustrator canvas, I jump over to SBP and start sketching. The sketches are not always related to the task at hand. This really helps with the the creative process, usually 9 times out of 10, I solve the problem at hand with in a couple of minutes.
